PRIMERS MG - 13 Silicate-based facade primer APPLICATION "MG-13" is a high-quality water-based silicate primer for indoor and outdoor use. It is perfectly suitable as a surface impregnation and saturation primer and as a transparent primer under silicate-based products and as a thinner for silicate-based paints and plasters. MG-13 contains water glass, that's why it reacts with mineral substrates and penetrates deep inside. It reacts also with atmospheric carbon dioxide, creating a hardened, vapor-permeable structure. Thanks to the above-mentioned properties, it is suitable for strengthening weak plasters. Because of high resistance to weathering and soiling, MG-13 is perfectly suitable for external color priming of mineral materials, such as: silicate bricks, ornamental concrete, mineral decorative plasterwork, sandstone etc. MG-13 is available in transparent colors, it is also hydrophobic. Because of its high pH (approx. 12.5), it destroys fungi on slightly infected walls. However, if the walls are seriously affected by fungi, it is necessary to disinfect them with "Dezynfekt N" by Malfarb, then apply MG-13 with some agent added to completely get rid of fungi.
