SILIKATE EXTERIOR PLASTER MT- 12 with "sheepskin" texture
APPLICATIONS:
MT-12 is a water-based exterior silicate plaster with "sheepskin" texture.
Plaster mixes with grain size of 1,1.5 and 2.5 mm are available.
By applying this plaster we can obtain scratched texture façade surfaces.
Can be applied onto any unpainted mineral substrates such as: fresh plaster, concrete,
sandstone, brickwork etc. It is also suitable for "plaster on plaster" use,
provided that existing mineral plaster is firmly bonded to the substrate.
The binder used in MT-12 is based on contact water glass.
This component comes into chemical reaction with both mineral substrate, i.e.
with plaster, and with carbon dioxide from the atmosphere.
Thanks to this, the plaster coat is perfectly bonded to the substrate.
It is extremely hard and permeable to vapor. MT-12 is very resistant to weathering.
It is not recommended to use MT-12 plaster onto dispersion acrylic paint coats
(non-permeable to vapor). It should not be mixed with other decorative acrylic plaster mixes. .
